Glad to know I'm not the only one who still adamantly thinks the whole "year of the Linux" raving is just setting ourselves up for disappointment. It's going to be a while until the general populace realizes that there is more than the 20+ years of Windows/Mac. They'll come around eventually (and of course some will want to stick with those 20+ good ol' years), but the "year of the Linux" is something that we just keep hoping for and never seem to be able to feasibly accomplish. ... what defines a "year of the Linux" anyways? What is the community hoping for? that we'll experience a second Enlightenment, toss all our Windows PCs into the trash, and hold open-source rallies? Gotta be realistic, unfortunately..

OMG YES. Dude, people have seriously stop saying that Steve Jobs will be unable to work. He will. (The will of the mind. If we all think positively, then the positive will occur. And goddamn it, I need those positive things to happen. Mainly because without Steve Jobs, our family is in A LOT of trouble.)
