Linux Users and Security

A week ago, an article was published explaining how to write a virus for Linux in Five Easy Steps. This article has created quite a bit of controversy. Apparently there are a lot of people that think that Linux is truly a more secure Operating System than Windows.

I am a big fan of British show Doctor Who, having followed it since Series One of the reboot.

Apparently, I have not been paying much attention recently, since apparently Matt Smith was announced as The Eleventh Doctor over two weeks ago. At 26, he’s the youngest Doctor since the show’s incarnation, and I think his hair looks terrible....

Windows 7 Beta 1 Released - For Free

So last Friday was supposed to be the official launch of the semi-public beta of Windows 7, with Microsoft promising 2.5 million unique product keys to people.

This set into motion a massive surge on Microsoft’s servers on Friday, culminating in an epic crash. I myself wasted 4 hours trying to get a key (of course, I had my computer do it for me so I could be productive during that time) and when I woke up on Saturday I found that Microsoft had made it a public beta, and were offering five universal keys for each version....
